- The longest unbeaten start to a season was achieved by D.C. United in 1997, who opened the campaign 14 matches unbeaten (with 9 wins and 5 ties).[9]
- The longest winning end to a season was achieved by Los Angeles Galaxy in 1997, who closed the campaign with 6 straight wins.
- The longest unbeaten end to a season was achieved by Columbus Crew in 2004, who closed the campaign 18 matches unbeaten (with 8 wins and 10 ties).
- The longest away games sequence a team had played during regular season was recorded by Chicago Fire in 2006, they opened the season with 9 straight games on the road.
- The longest home games sequence a team had played during regular season was recorded by Chicago Fire in 2006 as well, they hosted 9 straight home games between June 25th to August 16th.
